My favourite part of the holiday has been returning to the peace and tranquility of San Martino. I have loved the view of Montone, wether bathed in golden light or shrouded in mist. What a lovely week we've had here at San Martino! We've enjoyed the lovely apartment, the pool,the fireflies and getting lost in the towns, but most of all we're glad to have me Ben and Linda who are such wonderful hosts. Susan and Anna June 2007

As our notes touched on, we had a wonderful time in San Martino and enjoyed meeting both of you and in such a short space of time creating a real sense of friendship.

As you know Susan & I had nearly five weeks touring France and Italy staying some days in B & B and three separate weeks in self catering. Our first week was in Provence where we stayed in a small cottage within the ground of the Welsh owners property,although our cottage was small it was clean and comfortable with all the equipments required, we had a good week .
Then we came to you for the next week then on to Tuscany.
Out of all three properties which were all OK yours , was by far the best we have stayed at. Everything about the region,the position of your house,they way it was furnished was first class and we have already recommended it to lots of people abroad and at home, small things like the welcome pack,the information and books to read and the pleasant way we were greeted made all the difference.

What a marvellous place and a marvellous couple. You made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The only problem was that we couldnt keep Dan out of that great pool: I think he started to form gills! Keep watering the fig trees for our next visit, we will be back to our home from home in that beautiful spot in Umbria.
