View of the pool area
The large garden is cultivated mostly as vineyards and olive groves. Home made organic wine and olive oil are produced. A small sample of these can be found in your 16 item welcome grocery pack which is included in the cost of your stay. These items are also available to be bought. We also harvest of a variety of soft fruits, such as cherries, figs, apricots and grapes. Linda and Ben are happy for guests to experience these delights and are here for your benefit to help you make the most of your stay. We have our own herb garden which is at your disposal, please pick with care, moderation and respect.
The gardens is home to many species of wild life, especially butterflies and birds, of which the golden oriole and the hoopoe are regular visitors.
During June the fireflies add to the atmosphere of the warm evenings.
A 16 item welcome pack to suffice that initial hunger and thirst is provided. Items include our home produced wine and olive oil.
There is a small library of videos and DVD’s, as well as internet access. Guide books on the various hill-top towns are available to borrow on request.
All guests can meet informally on Sunday when an al-fresco meal is served at lunch time in the garden at 1 p.m. The price is 25 euro and includes wine. Please indicate on the booking form if you require this.
An elevated view from our vineyards of San Martino and pool
The pool is 12 metres by 6 metres and all the same depth, we provide pool towels. It is situated amongst the vines and olives with panoramic view of the Umbrian countryside. It is a stroll from the house and totally private. Guests are encouraged to sit by the pool at night when the pool is floodlit.
